Been going to this neighborhood treasure for about 15 years now. It's right off 495 Colesville Road, tucked into South Four Corners. George is no longer there, Donna and the rest of her crew ever really improve the place, well keeping it the small little Community shop that it is. Super nice people, and arguably the best place in the area to take young kids. Update: still going strong! Made it through the pandemic just fine, if there's not an open seat there will be one in like 10 to 15 minutes. Update to the update: still an awesome place for all members of your family. They're super patient and well experienced in dealing with little ones, then they take care of the moms and dads, and sometimes Grandma and Grandpa are there as well! Update to the update of the update: if you're paying more somewhere else rather than supporting this local business, you must be a crazy person!
Very nice people, reasonably priced and they do great work. Also, the Asian deli right next to it does delicious, freshly made sandwiches that are pretty cheap. I love small businesses like these that are exceptional at what they do.
Easily the best barber I've ever been to. I'm a guy so I can't speak to the women's haircuts. I find that "Barbers" do good men's haircuts and "Salons" tend to do women's better. When I had long hair I'd exclusively go to Salons cause they cut long hair very well. However my short haircuts here have been awesome. My partner and mom always love how I look after. When I feel self conscious about my hair not being cut in a while they don't say anything which made me feel better. Bottom line: Atmosphere, demeanor, price and quality are all 5 stars for me.
My Dad's been getting his hair cut here for 30 years, and my brother and I have started going as well. George's Barber Shop is the best around, simple as that. Fair prices and incredible service; everyone is so friendly, and I am grateful to say that this is where I'm going the get my hair cut for the foreseeable future. Thank you!!

Nice, small place with 4 barbers. All the seats were taken and there was a steady flow of customers. I waited a few minutes before getting served, and the barber treated me like I was the only one there! Highly recommend.
